Refund policy

Effective date: June 2025  ·  This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and complies with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and the Sale of Goods Act.

At TALI, we bring carefully crafted Egyptian textiles to the UK — pieces made with heritage, quality, and intention. We take the same care in delivering your order as we do in sourcing it.

1. Placing an Order

When you place an order on Tali.london, you are making an offer to purchase goods. We will confirm receipt of your order by email; however, this confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of your order.

Our acceptance of your order takes place when we dispatch the goods and send you a dispatch confirmation email. A legally binding contract between us is formed at that point.

We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, in which case we will provide a full refund of any payment made.

2. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on Tali.london are in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable, in accordance with UK VAT regulations.

We accept payment via major debit and credit cards, and other methods displayed at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of placing your order. All transactions are processed securely via our payment provider.

Price errors: In the unlikely event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we are not obligated to fulfil the order at the incorrect price. We will notify you promptly and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund.

3. Delivery

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days. As a small business working closely with artisan-made goods, processing times may occasionally vary — but we always aim to dispatch as quickly as possible.

Estimated shipping times:

  • UK delivery: 2–5 business days
  • International delivery: 5–10 business days

These are estimated delivery times and may be affected by customs, couriers, or seasonal demand.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Delivery address: Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We are unable to take responsibility for orders sent to incorrectly entered addresses.

Customs & import (international orders): Customs duties or import fees may apply depending on your country's regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if we are unable to deliver within 30 days of the agreed date, you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund.

4. Your Right to Cancel — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason. This is your statutory cooling-off period.

To exercise your right to cancel, please email us at hello@tali.london before the 14-day period expires, including your order number and reason for cancellation.

Following cancellation, you must return the goods to us within 14 days. Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

5. Returns

We hope you love your TALI piece, but if something isn't quite right, we're here to help. You can request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in their original condition
  • Items must be returned with all original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is required

Non-returnable items: Custom or made-to-order pieces cannot be returned unless faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

How to return an item: Email us at hello@tali.london with your order number and reason for return, and we'll guide you through the next steps.

6. Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we'll notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we may deduct an amount from a refund if the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

7. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 business days of delivery at hello@tali.london. We'll make it right as quickly as possible — whether that's a replacement or a full refund, at no additional cost to you.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a fault develops after 30 days but within six months of purchase, we will offer a repair or replacement in the first instance. If a repair or replacement is not possible or fails, you are entitled to a partial or full refund.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your order or a return, please contact us directly. We will endeavour to resolve any complaint within 5 business days. If you remain dissatisfied, you may be entitled to refer your complaint to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme.
